Poatina Arts and its facilities host a range of events that utilise our great studio and conferencing facilities. From national arts events and retreats to local gatherings, our events create a safe and supportive space in which to explore creativity in a variety of ways and disciplines.
Ausglass Conference
In February 2025 Poatina Arts will host the national Ausglass conference. Contemporary Glass professionals from interstate and overseas will converge for an amazing program of presentations, demonstrations and networking. The conference will be preceded and followed by glass workshops in the Poatina Glass Studio.
FATA
Our multi-discipline Summer School is Australia’s longest running faith-based, residential arts summer school. Facilitators and participants from around Australia share inspiration, creative growth, meals and conversations together each January. Highly valued as a great way to focus for the year ahead.
Creative Retreats
A range of grass-roots and high profile retreats facilitated by our highly skilled local artists as well as visiting professionals, including Glass Retreats, Winter Writer’s Retreats, and our major FATA Summer School that has a Retreat Mode option. Open to all, some with a faith-basis.
