Poatina Hot Glass Trailer

The only one of its kind in Australia, the Poatina Hot Glass Trailer has been a major feature at the Tasmanian Craft Fair and AGFEST for the past few years.  

The Rotary Club of Deloraine supported Fusion to build the mobile hot glass facility as the major feature attraction at their annual Tasmanian Craft Fair in 2009.  Since then thousands of onlookers have enjoyed seeing amazing works of art made before their eyes and some have even had the chance to try their own hand at working the molten medium.

The mobile Hot Glass Studio enables the mystery and fascination of Hot Glass and Glass Blowing to extend beyond the studio in Poatina.  It has also enabled glass blowing workshops to take place in the South of the state.
